Internal Facility, ITU Thermal Vacuum Chamber, Clean Room and Workshop

SSDTL includes a net 350lt thermal-vacuum chamber (TVAC), Figure 6, used particularly for testing nano/micro satellites or satellite components smaller than 40x40x60cm. TVAC is capable of maintaining the testing environment between -60°C and 125°C with 1°C/second temperature settings, and up to 10-6 torr vacuum condition. In the TVAC, Thermal-Cycling and Bake-Out testing are carried out. Ports for RF and electronic system control are available. 25 simultaneous temperature measurements can be taken.

Internal Facility, Ground Station
SSDTL ground station shown in Figure 8 is UHF/VHF capable. The station can host visitors for following spacecraft in orbit.
