Gemi ve Deniz Araştırmaları Grubu

Grubun Amacı

Deniz bilimleri ve teknolojileri alanı dahilinde özellikle gemi, açık deniz yapıları, kıyı yapıları dahil her türlü deniz aracının dizaynı, üretimi ve analizi için gerek duyulan üst seviyede araştırma, geliştirme ve inovasyon faaliyetlerinde bulunmak; ülkemiz endüstrisi ve savunma sanayimizi ihtiyaç duyduğu çözüm ve ürünleri geliştirmek; üst seviyede yüksek lisans ve doktora çalışmaları yürüterek, ülkemizin ihtiyaç duyduğu yetişmiş insan gücüne katkıda bulunmak; uluslararası çalışma ortamı yaratmak ve uluslararası işbirlikleri sağlamak; yabancı öğretim üye ve araştırmacılar ile uluslararası çalıştay ve konferanslar düzenlemek; yoğun akademik ve araştırma faaliyetlerinin sonuçlarını teknik raporlar ve uluslararası prestijli dergi yayınları ile duyurmaktır.
